Patients tell us that regularly.
Why choose us
Why Patients From Great Barr Choose The Chiropractic Studio
Great Barr is well-served for healthcare options, but chiropractic care is one area where most patients quickly realise the nearest isn't always the right choice. Our patients travel in for a more personal, results-focused experience - proper time with the chiropractor, no conveyor-belt appointments, and a willingness to combine chiropractic with deep tissue work or acupuncture, or sports massage with Hannah Porter (Sports Therapist to Aston Villa FC) when your body needs it. That joined-up approach is the reason most of our Great Barr patients stay with us long-term.

What we treat
What We Treat
We see Great Barr patients for the full range of chiropractic concerns - including:
- Lower back pain and sciatica
- Neck pain, stiffness and tension headaches
- Shoulder pain, including frozen shoulder and rotator cuff issues
- Sports injuries and overuse conditions
- Posture-related pain from desk work and driving
- Pregnancy-related back and pelvic pain
- Hip, knee and joint pain
Sciatica and lower back pain are among the most common reasons Great Barr patients make the trip — often after months of trying other approaches. Shoulder pain, including frozen shoulder and rotator cuff problems, is another area where our combined chiropractic and soft tissue approach tends to get results quickly. Neck pain and tension headaches from desk work or driving are also something we see regularly from Great Barr patients.
If your specific issue isn't on this list, get in touch - chances are it's something we treat regularly.
Conditions
Common Conditions We Treat For Great Barr Patients
Back Pain & Sciatica
Back pain and sciatica are the most common reasons Great Barr patients make the trip to us. Whether it's a disc issue, chronic lumbar tension, or sciatic nerve pain running into the leg, we find the source and treat it directly - combining chiropractic adjustment with dry needling where needed for faster, longer- lasting relief.
Neck Pain & Headaches
Persistent neck stiffness and tension headaches - often driven by desk work, driving, or long hours at a screen - respond well to chiropractic care. We restore joint movement and release the deep muscular tension that drives most headache patterns, often within 3-4 sessions.
Shoulder Pain & Frozen Shoulder
Frozen shoulder and rotator cuff problems are slow to resolve on their own. We combine chiropractic mobilisation with dry needling to break the cycle of restriction and tension, helping Great Barr patients regain full movement without the wait.
Sciatica & Hip Pain
Hip and pelvic pain - whether from joint restriction, muscle imbalance, or referred nerve pain - often has a mechanical cause that chiropractic addresses directly. We assess the full picture, from lumbar spine to hip joint, and treat accordingly.
Sports Injuries & Recovery
From gym injuries to weekend sport, we treat the joint and soft-tissue problems that slow Great Barr athletes down. Shoulder impingement, IT band syndrome, ankle sprains, and lower back strain from lifting all respond well to our combined chiropractic and dry needling approach.
Joined-up care
Chiropractic Plus Therapies - All Under One Roof
A standalone chiropractic adjustment is rarely the full picture. For many of our Great Barr patients, the fastest route to a fix is a combination of chiropractic care with one of our complementary therapies - deep tissue massage, sports massage, acupuncture, dry needling and spinal adjustments. Having all of those available at the same studio means no separate trips, no fragmented care, and a treatment plan that addresses joint, muscle and nervous system together.
Your first visit
What To Expect At Your First Appointment
Your first appointment runs around 45 minutes. We'll talk through your symptoms, your history and what you want to get out of treatment, then carry out a hands-on assessment. Most patients receive treatment on the same visit. By the end of the session, you'll know what we found, what we did about it, and a clear estimate of how many further sessions are likely to be needed. We don't push course plans you don't need.
